Usage/purpose
TN525 is a single sided medium density PVC foam tape which when compressed by 30% can be used to form a water and air/dust seal.
Do not use in continuously submerged applications.
Tape must be under minimum 30% compression to achieve an effective seal. Users are advised to conduct their own tests in order to determine the suitability of the product for the particular application. Contact of the tape with solvents or corrosive chemicals should be avoided. Not suitable as replacement for gasket in make-and-break type seals.

- When under compression (30%), provides an effective weather seal against wind and rain
- Provides a barrier to thermal bridging, galvanic corrosion and acoustic transmission
- Pale blue release paper on the non-adhesive face to prevent stretching when applying and to protect the foam
