GS202 Food& Water Seal

GS202 is an elastic, one component silicone sealant, actoxy curing for sealing applications with food and permanent water contact, e.g. drinking water tanks, swimming pools. Also suitable for bonding of fish tanks.

tanks, swimming pools and bathing areas
Bonding of glass fish tanks
Sealing of joints in stainless steel
housings for food processing
Sealing of joints on clean room
equipment/devices
Sealing in cooling areas where compliance
to direct food contact is required

Apply GS202 evenly and without air bubbles into the joint
using a manual or electric sealant gun. Smooth the surface with an illbruck smoothing agent AA300
or AA301 within the film formation time. Use smoothing agent sparingly to avoid contamination,
remove immediately with water should contamination occur. For a neat finish, use masking tape for the joint edges and
remove immediately after smoothing.
